Document Generator

The myBrand Document Generator enables you to generate documents in Microsoft Word® or PDF format® within SAP SuccessFactors. The Document Generator retrieves information directly and links selected employee data to the document. As a result, documents can be quickly and accurately downloaded, sent via email, or directly saved in the myBrand Digital Employee File. Generated documents, including workflow, can be sent to a party for digital signing*.

With the Document Generator, it is possible to link document templates to events in SAP SuccessFactors, so that documents are automatically generated and stored after completing a process in SAP SuccessFactors. This includes automatically generating an employment contract, digitally signing it, and automatically saving it in the file once the new employee is entered into SAP SuccessFactors.

With the Document Generator you can

• Manage and store company-specific template documents
• Utilize existing template documents created in Microsoft Word®, including custom headers and footers
• Generate documents quick and accurate based on these template documents and employee data from SAP SuccessFactors
• Link the generation of a document template to events in SAP SuccessFactors, enabling this process to be automatically initiated and handled
• Save generated documents in the Digital Employee File, or email them to the user or the respective employee
• Apply authorizations to document templates, allowing employees and managers to generate documents themselves. This includes items such as an employer’s statement or a confirmation of contract extension.

All functionalities of the myBrand Document Generator utilize the authorization roles implemented within SAP SuccessFactors.

The myBrand Document Generator is available as SAP SuccessFactors Extension (Cloud) and is built on the SAP Business Technology platform (BTP).

*The myBrand Document Generator has links with DocuSign, ValidSign, SigningHub and Adobe Sign. It is possible to link with other digital signing providers. To use digital signing, a subscription with one of these parties is required.
